Joe Jams with Jamie Cullum in Tokyo
Back in October 2006, through a fateful series of events Joe found himself jamming with 27 year old British Jazz/Pop artist, Jamie Cullum when he came to perform at Portland , Oregon 's Arlene Schnizter concert hall.
December 6 th & 7 th , already in the middle of his Japanese solo Tour, Joe once again joined Jamie, this time at the Shibuya Ax in Tokyo for the last 2 sold-out performances of an 18 month world tour .
“The audience was electric”, Joe said. “There must have been over a thousand screaming fans out there. It was quite exciting… I didn't really know exactly what Jamie was going to throw at me… we had no rehearsal… but that's how I like it. It keeps it all very real and spontaneous.”
Jamie's recent successes include a 2005 Grammy nomination, 2005 “Best Male Artist” and “Best Live Act” at the Britt Awards, and his album Catching Tails recently went Gold in France. Visit www.jamiecullum.com for details.
